Post: # 8404Post Carl »

Two yellow alert (moderate) weather warnings have been issued for tomorrow, both between 14:00 and 22:00 for the coast South of Alicante.

First weather warning is for rain with one-hour accumulated precipitation of 20 mm, and the second is for moderate thunderstorms. Both warnings come with the usual - "Be aware, keep up to date with the latest weather forecast. Expect some minor disruption to outdoor activities."

"These are warnings for probability, not for the certainty that they will occur. It is possible that there are areas where they hardly see rain and others where, indeed, these storms can fall."

So it may rain or it may not rain on everybody. :D

This is the problem with weather forecasters now, they sit on the fence without actually needing to be accurate with their predictions. As long as they cover all eventualities in their forecasts they will never be wrong.

Costa Blanca News had 100% chance of rain for tomorrow afternoon. I think it was 45% for the morning.

Well we're going out for a meal with friends tomorrow evening, we are seated outside so it's bound to rain. ;)

Thank you Carl. I'll let you know.

We're at Gong, Playa Flamenca and then Legends to see some old friends of ours .. Sunflower Valley.

They split up four years ago as a duo and husband and wife and I seem to recall that the split was pretty acrimonious, so it will interesting to see why or how they are back together. I know Mark Farrow has a new partner as has Carla, so they have just come back as duo.

Their debut was at The Stray Sod last night and they are billing them every Friday so it looks like it a long term thing.

Sunflower Valley seem to be replacing Richies Alexanders gig slots now that he has run off back the UK .. yet again.

They were a well respected duo who always drew in the punters and I can only assume that their solo careers are not doing so well.

Well another not accurate weather report
No storm in the san miguel area, just sunshine, a light breeze and wispy clouds at the moment

Looking at the radar, suggests something may develop over this area in the next hour.
