Community Swimming Pools

Post: # 7606Post hombre »

What is the current rule on opening of Community Swimming Pools. Does the Local authority decide or has it been left up to the Administrators of Communities who would of course have government guidelines to follow? Anyone in the Orihuela Costa area know what the Local Ayuntamiento have ruled on this?

We had s vote amongst the owners as to whether to open or not. Regulation had been relaxed a little. However it has put an additional cost on running the pools this year, but the majority thought it was worth it.

Noticed just yesterday a community pool near me on the Orihuela Costa had a notice on the gated area that surrounds the pool - restriction on the number of people able to access the gated pool area, hand sanitizer must be used on entering the gated pool area and no inflatables allowed in the pool.

Our pool cleaner comes in every morning and cleans and disinfects the pool area.

I make sure that everyone showers before and after using the pool.

There's not that many people here at the moment on our community so there's no need for restriction of number.

And we've never allowed inflatables
