Once again the meteorologists seem to have got it wrong. Since last Friday rain had been forecast for today in all the weather reports I had seen, so at least they had all been consistent in the forecast, albeit all consistently wrong !

AccuWeather is still showing a 50%ish chance of rain between now and the end of the day for Torrevieja and the surrounding areas. Time will tell.

Not sure what Torrevieja was like Monday or Tuesday, but Playa Flamenca had been blanketed by thick fog first thing in the morning. Again, this was not in forecast.

Yes we had thick fog, although we refer to it as sea mist.

According to Auntie BBC we are in for a noisy night. Thunderstorms predicted from 11pm through to noon tomorrow.
