There are two AEMET Yellow Warnings in place for the coast south of Alicante from midnight tonight through to midnight tomorrow night.

The first warning is for moderate thunderstorms and the second is for rain, with up to 60mm of rain forecast to hit the area.

One local English free paper mentioned Gota Fria for tomorrow, although I have not seen it mentioned anywhere else.

Well, we had a bit of rain today and that was it.
Hardly anything to worry about.

Thank you for your good wishes, slightly apprehensive about the French part of the route, pretty sure we have all the paperwork needed, along with web links for the electronic bits. We are using a French Vet for the first time for the Pet passport so fingers crossed

We always used French vets on our way back from Spain, most of them spoke some English which did help... Usually no trouble at all, especially with the pet passport book, we even managed it with our dog when that didn't exist and it was just papers! One thing to be mindful of is make sure the passport is stamped and signed in the right places, and that the date is correct so you can travel within the timescale. Good luck
