Apparently the Parade itself has been cancelled because of the weather

Thank you for that.

Local media now confirmed parade is cancelled due to weather, entertainment in bars and restaurants to go ahead as planned.

Thank you for your post reddragon.

I remember something being mentioned a few weeks after the St. Patrick's Day parade was cancelled but had heard nothing since, and assumed that the talk had come to nothing.

Googling this morning I have found a poster for it online and uploaded it under a separate thread, although there seems to be a general lack of information about what the parade will actually consist and no mention of the event in the media for over a month.
