Easyjet - Lose 6 Seats Lose 1 Cabin Crew

Seems a simply solution to reduce the number of cancelled flights due to cabin crew shortage.

The UK CAA rules are that for every 50 passengers or part thereof you need 1 cabin crew member. The Easyjet A319 aircraft seats 156 passengers, so lose the back row of 6 seats and you can reduce the cabin crew by 1.

Apparently a similar situation occured in the 1980s/1990s and the back row of seats were simply taped off, but since then the CAA rules have changed and the row of seats have to be removed from the aircraft.
