Bonanza of Sea Bass and Bream for Rod & Line fishermen at the coast

As a consequence of storm Gloria fishermen are catching Sea Bass and Sea Bream by the hundreds off the rocks and the beaches in Torrevieja. The storm uprooted these very heavily anchored fishfarm cages releasing thousands of fish along the coast giving fishermen a very unexpected bonanza. The rocks at Hombre del Mar in Torrevieja Town is where many of the fishermen are casting off from.

The fish must still be pretty plentiful or it may be a fishing competition but I see from Los Locos beach webcam there are fishermen/women casting their rods this morning. Www.eltiempoentorrevieja.es and what a gorgeous morning it looks there too.
