Security grill recommendations please?

#1

Post: # 3119Post chrisz »

We're completing on our quad in Dream Hills 1 next week and would appreciate recommendations of businesses who can retrospectively fit security grills to our patio doors (coming off the bedroom on the first floor). Those to avoid would also be helpful as would any rough ideas about costs including installation.

Many thanks.

The technical bit I picked up which usually accounts for difference in price is powdered and galvanized. It appears galvanized is superior to powdered and costs more. Just a question you might ask of whoever you get to quote.

Thanks Bee, I had no idea of either: At 64 I've learnt something new.

I googled the two different finishes and found the following - http://www.surtech-ind.com/powder-coati ... izing.html

So as galvanizing is better for outside metal it's the one I'll go for.
