Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 can (15oz) cream-style corn
- ½ cup sugar
- 5 slices day-old bread, crusts removed
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas Mark 4. Grease a 9 inch square baking dish.
2. In a bowl, beat eggs and milk. Add corn and sugar; mix well.
3. Cut bread into ½ inch cubes and place in the baking dish. Pour egg mixture over bread. Dot with butter.
4. Bake, uncovered, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 50 - 60 minutes.
