Just in case it's of any use, I see Linea Direct are offering a stand alone policy for this for 24 euros annually

Might be of interest to any non resident, I've taken it out.

Is that to insure the squatters will get in or does it pay to get them out ?

It's good to know the insurance companies Actuarians see the probability of it happening as being very low if they are only charging €24. If it was high risk they wouldn't touch it.

The small print
https://www.lineadirecta.com/documents/ ... d-alone_EN

On their website it says, €800 per month for supply costs and €300 per month for accommodation. In the T&Cs, it's the other way around, €300 for supply and €800 for accommodation, which would be more logical.

Shall certainly consider it though.

We have one house on our urb which has been taken over already by squatters, and another attempt was foiled by a vigilant resident.
