Levante Promenade To Be Closed For Renovation From November

Not clear when the promenade will reopen, although July 2025 is given for completion of the entire project that includes the promenade.

What seemed strange is that the project includes assessment of the 'mechanical and structural integrity of the breakwater', I would have thought that this would have been a prerequisite to this project. And if issues are discovered ?

The other thing that stood out was the final paragraph. I am sure that the fairground was suppose to have been moved back to the port area before this summer, now looks like even next summer is unlikely if tendering is late this year/early next.

Not sure whether anyone regularly looks at the live webcam for Paseo del Mar, but it now looks like they have thrown more manpower at the leisure development and are working longer hours, although it still looks like it is behind schedule for completion.

Most days we have the webcam on the TV as a screensaver, so we have watched the progress since the camera was installed, very slow. If you manage to view the webcam before 8.00 am, you currently get a wider angle view of the whole project before it zooms in. When we change the clocks, it should be light enough to see more clearly, this early in the morning.

It is well past time to relay that boardwalk. It is in a deplorable state. I keep an eye on the construction works now and then. I thought they were coming along nicely. I wonder will the Funfair return or will they have a smaller version?
